Located in University City, Philadelphia, in three connecting Victorian brownstone buildings. White Dog Cafe is a favorite among locals, with its coalescence of award-winning, interesting contemporary American cuisine gaining much popularity. The restaurant is also known for its environmental sustainability and community engagement. Beginning as a tiny shop serving muffins and coffee, White Dog Cafe has grown into a full-service eatery recognized nationally, with both Philadelphia and Mainline restaurants. Even though we've grown, our mission stays the - serving the community, every customer, the earth, and one another. We purchase the majority of our ingredients of our ingredients from local farms, no more than fifty miles from our restaurants. Our cuisine includes only the best organic ingredients from farms we trust; that includes pasture fed animals, humanely treated livestock, and sustainable farming practices. Our wines our grown and produced from American vineyards, while our fish and is harvested through sustainable suppliers. All of our tea, coffee, and chocolate are Certified Organic and Fair Trade, and all cleaning products used are environmentally friendly. Vegetarian and Allergy menus are also available.
