Jake Schorr has been in the restaurant business for almost 35 years. He's the man that brought you the recipe for our Hot Fudge Pie, not to mention personally makes the majority of them. And that's no small feat; We've sold over 900,000 pieces and still counting! Back in 1979, Jake began perfecting the pie, cooking them 3 times a week for 6 months, in an effort to create the perfect dessert combination of two he'd always loved- his mother's chocolate ice box pie and the classic brownie. He succeeded, and today Westy's mouth watering pie attracts people from all over the world!
That dedication to quality food and home-style recipes is the root of everything we have at Westy's.
