Rotating Feature: Chimay's Trappist Ales
These unique biers are the result of over 150 years of tradition and are commonly referred to by the color of its labels
Chimay Première (Red)
The original Chimay (7%) first brewed by the monks in 1862. Well-balanced dubbel with flavors of apricots, candy sugar and nutmeg
Chimay Cinq Cents (White)
Cinq Cents (8%) means 500 in French. This bier was brewed to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the City of Chimay in 1966. Dry triple with a hoppy, floral profile
Chimay Grand Réserve (Blue)
Originally brewed as a Christmas bier (9%) in 1948, this unique quadruple quickly became Chimay's flagship and represents more than 50% of the brewery's production. Smooth and creamy with rich flavors of mulling spices and caramel. Improves with age, just like a fine wine
