30th Annual Vintage Alpine
Time: 1:00pm-4:00pm: Sunday May 3, 2020; Sample premium wines from California and the World and taste the best from restaurants throughout the County as you explore the gardens of Summers Past Farms. Find some of your favorites on our list of participating wineries!

Lavender Day & Antique Craft Fair
Time: 9:00-4:00. Saturday June 13, 2020. (Farm Open 9:00-5:00); Come celebrate the fragrance and beauty of lavender. Spend the day with a friend at the farm and shop in the barn for great lavender gifts like lavender soaps, candles and linen spray. (My favorite product is still the Lavender Flower Garden Salve!) Lavender herbal soaps fill the soap shop with the scent of the south of France ~ come and experience it. Fill your garden and containers with many types of lavender during our one day plant sale. Picnic while listening to live music in our spacious pavilion or grass area. Remember to wear lavender! Over 40 fine craftsman and expert artisans can be found at this event. Pumpkin Patch
Month of October; Open each week of October: Thursday-Saturday 9-5 & Sunday 10-5; A favorite time for Summers Past Farms. Wander in the pumpkin patch during the week and pick your favorite pumpkin! Featuring our selection of field grown pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Fill your wheelbarrow with your favorite pumpkins. Fun filled days for everyone. Bring your cameras, family and friends. Snap a picture of the kids having fun in the "jumpy" on the grassy area. Something for all to enjoy! Grateful Gifts: Say Thank You or I Love You to a special friend with one of our many seasonal gifts and treats. Be Thankful: Express your gratitude all year round with our home decorations and accents.
Alpine Stagecoach Lions Club Annual Dog Show
Doors Open at 11:30 Am:: Dog Show 1:00-4:00 Pm; Saturday October 24, 2020; Join special celebrity guests Shotgun Tom Kelly and Coe Lewis for a day of dogs, food and fun! Special Exhibitions: Champion Frisbee, Surf & Diver Dogs Costume Contest, Prizes & Trophies, Vendors, Food, Fun! While you' re here, visit our pumpkin patch! Holiday Open House
Time: 5:00-8:00. Thursday November 5, 2020. You are invited to start your holiday season at Summers Past Farms. Be inspired by our selection of fall and Christmas gifts and home decor. The Barn will be filled with lights and the trimmings of the season. The store is a special place to be in the evening with all the holiday sparkle and the scents of the season. The Soap Shoppe will have special holiday soaps and gifts ready for the giving. Come with all your friends. Making this an old fashion open house please bring a plate of your favorite homemade cookies for the cookie table. Soap Making Class

This demonstration will give you the confidence to start making your own herbal soap. You will observe the soap making process, learn the techniques, and help stir. See how the finest all vegetable based herbal soaps are made. You will receive some soap samples of our favorite soaps and save 10% on soap making supplies the day of the demonstration. The Barn Shoppe
Our country store is a rustic post and timber barn we built ourselves. The Barn is always a fun place to shop and see what is new for the season! Come see all the new fairy items, gardening and cook books, country furniture and garden statues. We have a beautiful collection of wreaths just in time for spring. Also, get a friendly greeting from our cat Autumn who will be sleeping in the sunny window.

Tomato Soup with Fresh Herbs (serves 6)
Ingredients
1/4 cup Butter; 1 small Onion, chopped; 1 Carrot, chopped; 1 cup chopped Celery, stalks & leaves; 1 bay leaf; 1 tablespoon chopped fresh Basil; 2 sprigs each fresh Oregano, Marjoram, Thyme; 3 cups peeled, seeded and chopped Tomatoes; 4 cups Chicken Stock salt freshly ground black pepper.
