Blue Heron Bridge Diving
Phil Foster Park Shore Dives
Dive & Snorkeling for the Whole Family
The best shore diving in Florida! Located at the south end of Singer Island, this shore dive offers convenient free parking, easy walk in entry, gentle slope terrain, and about 20 feet depths. A "trail" has been placed in the water which attracts abundant sea life and critters - great for divers getting back in the water, guided tours, and Scuba Reviews or Discover Scuba Excursions conducted by our PADI Professionals.
Learn to Dive at the Blue Heron Bridge
The Blue Heron Bridge is a great place to learn to scuba dive. When the seas become unwelcoming, the bridge is often protected and calm. It is perfect for practicing the important skills needed to scuba dive.
How to Dive the Blue Heron Bridge
Time Your Dive
Your Blue Heron Bridge dive and snorkel experience depends on where the tide is at. A good rule of thumb is to go right around high tide. About 30 minutes before high tide will give you the best results. Click here for a tide chart
Bring a Flag
Divers, snorkelers and sea creatures are not the only ones to use the water space. Boats move in and out of the area, so you need to make sure they see you by bringing a dive flat. Scuba Works has dive flag for purchase or rent.
Hire a Guide
Get insider tips to seeing the best the Blue Heron Bridge has to offer by hiring a dive guide. Our experienced professional scuba and snorkeling guides will show you the best places to look for the amazing sea creatures that live there.
Scuba Dive West Palm Beach
Dive West Palm Beach
Experience the Best Diving in West Palm Beach, FL with Scuba Works!
If you are looking to dive West Palm Beach, then look no further. All diving here in West Palm Beach is Drift Diving, where the boat follows the reef system as divers let the currents guide them along the reefs and ledges to see turtles, eels, barracuda, plant life, coral formations, Goliath Grouper, and even sharks. Depths in the West Palm Beach sites are usually 50 - 70 feet when we dive south of the inlet - dives sites such as Breakers, the Trench, Flower Garden, the Danny and the Mispah - all great sites for new divers as well as advanced. Dives are in the 70 - 90 feet range when we head to advanced sites north of the inlet more commonly known as the Juno Ledge and Jupiter Dive sites - Tunnels, the Wreck Trek, Area 51, the Deep Ledge, and other unique sites. Several reef systems, wrecks, and ledges hold an abundance of sea life, and the water clarity is usually 40+ feet. Water temperatures are in the 75 - 85 degree range in the summer months, and 72 - 78 degrees in the winter months. Wetsuits are suggested for both warmth and protection.
PADI Open Water Certification
The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world's most popular scuba course, and has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.
Once you breathe underwater for the first time (something you'll never forget) and learn what you need to know to become a certified diver, you'll find out why it is such a popular course. Your course includes Classroom Instruction, Pool Instruction, and Open Water Dives at the Blue Heron Bridge. After Certification, you receive a discounted 2 Tank Dive Trip at a Special Student Price.
Students are responsible for purchasing course materials ($69), or for taking the PADI On-Line Portion of the course ($169).
For those who purchase course materials, students will attend a 3 - 4 hour classroom session prior to Pool Instruction. For those who take the PADI On-Line Portion of the course, students will complete a review of the material and testing prior to the Pool Instruction.
Students also provide their own Scuba Mask, Boots, Fins, and Snorkel - Package Deals Start at just $159.
We want your Course to be a Great Experience! In order to be prepared, we want you to review the PADI Medical Statement.
The purpose of this Medical Questionnaire is to find out if you should be examined by your doctor before participating in recreational diver training. A positive response to a question does not necessarily disqualify you from diving. A positive response means that there is a preexisting condition that may affect your safety while diving and you must seek the advice of your physician prior to engaging in dive activities.
There are several options in taking your Open Water Certification.
Group Classes as well as Semi Private and Private Scuba Classes are available.

The Referral program is ideal for divers who want to start their diving education at home, and finish in the beautiful conditions of Jupiter, FL.
The program works by you completing the academics and confined water portions of the class at your local dive center, and finishing your dives with us!
By completing the theory portion of the scuba certification course before leaving on vacation, student divers eliminate the need to study on vacation.
Students who study dive theory back home usually have a longer period of time to learn the information than those who try to cram studying into vacation hours. In general, referral students tend to have a better grasp of dive theory than those who study on vacation.
