CD Duplication
SDAV has no minimum size order. If you are only in need of a small run of discs, and you need them fast, then SDAV is your home. CD packages can be completed in as little as 2 days. Full packaged orders with inserts and overwrap (“retail ready”) can be ready in less than a week. Let us know your deadline, and we’ll get you covered.
CD Replication
SDAV can manufacture any large run order(1,000+CDs) with our highest quality replication process. Our quality verification procedures, digital proofing system, and routine analytical and technical tests ensure that you get nothing but the best product possible. Replication orders can be completed in as little as 5 days. Standard turn time for full packaged projects is 10 business days. If you need it sooner, just let us know.
Printing
The impression that your disc art gives is very important. At SDAV we only offer the highest quality print processes available for disc printing. From small run on-disc printing, to silk screen or offset prints, SDAV will make sure that your disc will have the finest look possible. 1-color to full color, thermal disc prints, or inkjet, we will make your discs come to life.
Digitize Audio
San Diego Audio Video uses the best technology available to take analog recordings such as audio cassettes and creating the highest-quality digital recording from them. We can either create a CD, or a digital file for your computer that you can add to your iTunes list or play on your portable music player. Remember those old vinyl records or are you trying to remember what those reel-to-reel recordings sounded like? Prevent any further loss in quality and free up some closet space by digitizing some of those relics. San Diego Audio Video can fix many of the common issues with old formats, such as distortion, speed fluctuations, and audible pops. Audio Transfer to CD
San Diego Audio Video specializes in saving your old audio to CD or to MP3 files. Many clients come to SDAV with music, commercial, broadcast, or other audio that is saved on old analog formats such as audio cassettes, micro cassettes, reel to reel, mini disc, DAT and 8-track. Through San Diego Audio Video's Professional Audio Transfer Services, we can reformat your analog audio into digital audio. This digital audio can be saved to a high-quality CD where it can then be duplicated or replicated, it can be converted to an MP3 or WAV file for use on your computer, website, iPod or other digital music device. Preserve those valuable recordings to prevent any further loss of data! At San Diego Audio Video, we offer Option 1 Direct Transfer of your audio as the least expensive method. Option 2 Transfer your Audio with Enhancement, normalizing, equalizing, removal of clicks, pops, hum, background noise. Have us add digital tracking to your content, too, so you can skip around easier from track to track. For your own convenience playing back old audio in '09, and for the sake of posterity, preserve those audio tracks now!
Audio Cassette / Micro Cassette Transfer to CD
Remember, CD's hold a max of 80 minutes. If you have more than 80 minutes, we use a second disc for $10 more. Remember also that micro cassettes have a "slow" speed, which will double MC-30, MC-60, MC-90. You can combine several audio tapes onto a single CD with no extra charge. (80 min. max.)
DAT (Digital Audio Tape) Transfer to CD
San Diego Audio Video can also transfer DAT to CD.
Reel to Reel Transfer to CD (1/4" only)
All size reels - 5", 7", 10". 2 track, 4 track, and 1/4 track stereo (both directions). Reel to Reel is recorded at many different speeds, most common of which are 7 1/2 ips, 3 3/4 ips, and 1 7/8 ips.
Vinyl / LP Transfer to CD
San Diego Audio Video can also transfer 78's, 45's, and 33 rpm to CD.

Audio Editing Enhancing, Remastering, and adding track marks
We will remove static, clicks, hum, pops, background noise. We will adjust levels if needed, eliminate unwanted gaps/spaces, balance level between left & right channels, and normalize music tracks. For any of above services, add $25/hr to Option 1 price. Extra copies for only $5 with transfer. Above prices include direct transfer to CD, up to 80 minutes per master. Time over 80 minutes requires second disc ($10 per master). Custom title thermal printed directly onto CD and slim case included. Combining of two masters onto a single CD $2. Extra copies for only $5 at the time the master CD is created. To create one Master MP3 CD, minimum $15 up to 5 masters(in addition to transfers cost). Add tracking break, $8 per CD.

Jewel Cases
The original CD packaging is still one of the most popular. Jewel cases present the classic option for your next album. There are many different jewel case formats to choose from. Broadcast and Professional Video tape conversions
SDAV has multiple professional and commercial decks, cameras, and state of the art equipment to handle your tapes. Some of the higher end tape formats that we can support: 3/4" U-matic, Beta SP, DVCAM, Mini DV, HDV.
We can take your video to standard DVD
digital video tape, or we can capture it into our editing system and prepare data files for editing purposes or for the web. Quicktime, AVI, MPEG, MOV, WMV or any other file preference can be supported. SDAV operates on both PC and MAC with the most proficient editing programs and technicians to reach your needs.
Need dubs of your tape?
We can record to Beta SP, Mini DV, DVCAM, HDV, hard drive and any of the above mentioned tape formats. Special requirements? High Definition
With the ability to handle a variety of HD formats, SDAV provides full flexibility to record and playback either Standard or High Definition, depending on your production needs. We can down-convert your HDV tapes to standard DVDs or to digital files for a very affordable price.
Home Video/Camcorder tapes to DVD
Preserve those memories before you risk losing them or they deteriorate. Let SDAV transfer those boxes of old videos and camcorder tapes to high quality DVD-R media at an affordable cost. SDAV can transfer: VHS, VHS-C, Betamax, Hi-8, Digital 8, Super VHS, Mini DVD, Mini DV, HDV, 8mm film / 16mm film.
We can also transfer from a flash drive
external hard drive, or straight from your camera's hard drive. Up to 2 hours of video can fit onto a standard DVD-R. We can combine multiple tapes to one DVD as well. Editing, authoring, or color correction is additional.
8mm & 16mm Film Transfer
SDAV's state-of-the-art digital projection system is one of a kind. First, one of our trained operators will inspect, clean and prepare your film, checking to make sure if any of the tape or splices need to be repaired. With our custom engineered system, we then directly capture your film through a built-in broadcast grade, 3-CCD camera. Your footage is projected directly through the lens of that camera. This produces the highest resolution possible of your footage, each frame, one frame at a time. While transferring, we will monitor your footage and can adjust color/brightness where needed. 8MM to DVD transfer San Diego. 8MM Transfer to DVD San Diego. Depending on how many reels you have, we can transfer your film in 5-7 days. If you need it sooner, just let us know. SDAV can ship your film reels and DVDs nationwide. DVD
Once captured into our system we can burn a high quality DVD master for you that is viewable on DVD players and computers. A DVD can hold up to two hours of footage.
Hard Drive
Perhaps you would like to do your own editing with the footage. We can prepare data files formatted per your request and load them on to an external hard drive. From there you can edit or burn your own DVD masters. (Quicktime, avi, wmv, mpeg, mov)
Mini DV
Another option is to transfer the material directly to a digital tape of your choice like a Mini DV or DVCAM tape. A digital video tape preserves the high quality footage even better than a standard viewing DVD. We can provide from a variety of Sony and Panasonic Mini DV tapes. We highly suggest making a Mini DV tape copy for your records. A Mini DV tape holds 2.5x more information than a DVD and is less susceptible to damage and wear over a long period of time. The Mini DV would serve as your digital master that you can archive, store as a back up, and use for editing in the future. Your memories are priceless, it's always a good idea to have a back up digital master. Keep in mind once your film is all captured, we can edit your footage, add music, titles, a menu, and make a custom video for your viewing pleasure. High Definition
With the ability to handle a variety of HD formats, SDAV provides full flexibility to record and playback either Standard or High Definition, depending on your production needs. We can down-convert your HDV tapes to standard DVDs or to digital files for a very affordable price.

Jewel Cases
The original CD packaging is still one of the most popular. Jewel cases present the classic option for your next album. There are many different jewel case formats to choose from. SDAV offers custom jewel cases at the lowest cost and fastest turn around time. 2-Panel Inserts, 4-Panel Inserts, 6-Panel Inserts, 8-Panel Inserts, Booklet Style Inserts, Slimline Cases, Multi-Disc Cases.
DVD Cases
The traditional DVD case is offered in black, white, and clear. Fully packaged DVD cases with an outside cover and poly over wrap are available at a low-cost package deal. Single DVD Case, Double DVD Case, Triple DVD Case, Quad DVD Case, Multi-Disc DVD Case, Slim DVD Case.
Jackets

Digitize Audio
San Diego Audio Video uses the best technology available to take analog recordings such as audio cassettes and creating the highest-quality digital recording from them. We can either create a CD, or a digital file for your computer that you can add to your iTunes list or play on your portable music player. Remember those old vinyl records or are you trying to remember what those reel-to-reel recordings sounded like? Prevent any further loss in quality and free up some closet space by digitizing some of those relics. San Diego Audio Video can fix many of the common issues with old formats, such as distortion, speed fluctuations, and audible pops. Audio Transfer to CD
San Diego Audio Video specializes in saving your old audio to CD or to MP3 files. Many clients come to SDAV with music, commercial, broadcast, or other audio that is saved on old analog formats such as audio cassettes, micro cassettes, reel to reel, mini disc, DAT and 8-track. Through San Diego Audio Video's Professional Audio Transfer Services, we can reformat your analog audio into digital audio. This digital audio can be saved to a high-quality CD where it can then be duplicated or replicated, it can be converted to an MP3 or WAV file for use on your computer, website, iPod or other digital music device. Preserve those valuable recordings to prevent any further loss of data! At San Diego Audio Video, we offer Option 1 Direct Transfer of your audio as the least expensive method. Option 2 Transfer your Audio with Enhancement, normalizing, equalizing, removal of clicks, pops, hum, background noise. Have us add digital tracking to your content, too, so you can skip around easier from track to track. For your own convenience playing back old audio in '09, and for the sake of posterity, preserve those audio tracks now!
Audio Cassette / Micro Cassette Transfer to CD
Remember, CD's hold a max of 80 minutes. If you have more than 80 minutes, we use a second disc for $10 more. Remember also that micro cassettes have a "slow" speed, which will double MC-30, MC-60, MC-90. You can combine several audio tapes onto a single CD with no extra charge. (80 min. max.)
DAT (Digital Audio Tape) Transfer to CD
San Diego Audio Video can also transfer DAT to CD.
Reel to Reel Transfer to CD (1/4" only)
All size reels - 5", 7", 10". 2 track, 4 track, and 1/4 track stereo (both directions). Reel to Reel is recorded at many different speeds, most common of which are 7 1/2 ips, 3 3/4 ips, and 1 7/8 ips.
Vinyl / LP Transfer to CD
San Diego Audio Video can also transfer 78's, 45's, and 33 rpm to CD.

8mm & 16mm Film Transfer to DVD
Have old film laying around? Save your memories from getting lost or ruined and let SDAV transfer them to DVD or another digital format. SDAV’s state-of-the-art digital projection system uses frame by frame technology to maintain the highest picture quality possible. Outside of San Diego orders are welcomed! Send us your masters, and we’ll ship you back your completed order. Depending on how many reels you have, we can transfer your film in 5-7 days. If you need it sooner, just let us know. SDAV can ship your film reels and DVDs nationwide. We package your reels and DVDs with the utmost care and ship daily…UPS, Fedex and USPS. Don't forget we also transfer negatives, slides, and photos too.
8mm & 16mm Film Transfer
SDAV's state-of-the-art digital projection system is one of a kind. First, one of our trained operators will inspect, clean and prepare your film, checking to make sure if any of the tape or splices need to be repaired. With our custom engineered system, we then directly capture your film through a built-in broadcast grade, 3-CCD camera. Your footage is projected directly through the lens of that camera. This produces the highest resolution possible of your footage, each frame, one frame at a time. While transferring, we will monitor your footage and can adjust color/brightness where needed.
DVD
Once captured into our system we can burn a high quality DVD master for you that is viewable on DVD players and computers. A DVD can hold up to two hours of footage.
Hard Drive
Perhaps you would like to do your own editing with the footage. We can prepare data files formatted per your request and load them on to an external hard drive. From there you can edit or burn your own DVD masters. (Quicktime, avi, wmv, mpeg, mov)
Mini DV
Another option is to transfer the material directly to a digital tape of your choice like a Mini DV or DVCAM tape. A digital video tape preserves the high quality footage even better than a standard viewing DVD. We can provide from a variety of Sony and Panasonic Mini DV tapes. We highly suggest making a Mini DV tape copy for your records. A Mini DV tape holds 2.5x more information than a DVD and is less susceptible to damage and wear over a long period of time. The Mini DV would serve as your digital master that you can archive, store as a back up, and use for editing in the future. Your memories are priceless, it's always a good idea to have a back up digital master. Keep in mind once your film is all captured, we can edit your footage, add music, titles, a menu, and make a custom video for your viewing pleasure. It's a great idea especially when gathering with friends and family to watch together. Would you like to view a sample or portion of your film first, before transferring all of it? Over the twenty years that followed, the company name changed to first, San Diego Audio, then San Diego Audio Video and we expanded to include a wide range of audio-video services including the sales of blank Pro Video Tape and media packaging and accessories. Today, San Diego Audio Video is a full service media solutions provider for musicians, filmmakers, businesses, and families. For the last 15 years we've been operating out of a 12,000 square foot building in a location easily accessible to all San Dieagans. (Even easier for online shoppers to get to us.)
