About Us
Merlins Pizza opened the doors to its first location in Destin, Florida in March 1999. Since then we have served hundreds of thousands of pizzas to gulf coast visitors and residents alike. We are not associated with any national chains. We are 100% local.
What makes us different?
Merlins Pizza is founded on the premise of using nothing but the finest ingredients. While many of the national chains claim the same, we prove it day after day. We still make our dough and sauce fresh daily. We order produce locally and cut it ourselves fresh on a daily basis.
The national chains consistently work harder to bring you a cheaper pizza, we consistently work harder to bring you a BETTER pizza. We can’t afford to sell our pies at the ridiculously low prices some of our competitors offer. Unlike the chains, we don’t load our meats up with soy to lessen the cost. Also, unlike the chains and most of the other local pizza places, we don’t add cellulose powder to our cheese. (Sounds too gross to be true? Call any of the national chains and ask them to read you the ingredients list from their cheese) Everything we use is of the highest quality, we pay the extra because we don’t believe in skimping on quality.
