Getting Started
Your first step to getting started at JP CrossFit is to sign up for one of our free trial classes.
The free trial class will introduce you to some of the basic movements used in CrossFit, as well as introduce you to the gym—how we run classes, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you. .
After your free trial class, you'll need to complete 6 additional Fundamentals classes to get you up to speed on the various movements used in CrossFit.
These classes are specially designed to give you lots of attention, with a small class cap and a lesson plan that leaves plenty of time to practice technique and refine movements. .

Once you've completed the fundamentals program, you're ready to get started on regular WOD classes, as well as our specialty classes, like running, Olympic weightlifting or powerlifting!
If you have any questions at all about getting started, there are two ways to get them answered.
The best is to sign up for a free trial class and bring your questions with you. There's no better way to find out about the gym, and CrossFit generally, than to show up and check it out! If you have questions you'd like to have answered before the free trial, though, feel free to shoot us an email. .
JP CrossFit is a neighborhood gym, with many of our members living in close proximity to Forest Hills in southern Boston. Our focus is on getting fit, and having fun doing it. Although there are some (very) friendly rivalries at the gym, our main focus is on improving ourselves every day, not trying to beat anyone except our past selves.
