Most of our seating is at communal hightop tables or on soft leather couches in our "lounge". Every seat has a prime view of our brewing operations, so you can watch our brew team at work while sipping some of their creations. We also have 2 large HDTVs, a 120" HD projector, a regulation-sized shuffleboard table, and four pinball machines— Halloween, Big Lebowski, Guardians of the Galaxy and Star Wars. Unfortunately, we cannot welcome dogs in the Taproom due to health code restrictions. (Licensed service dogs are permitted.).
In April 2018, we we expanded our Taproom with the addition of FoodWorks, which boasts an open kitchen, additional seating, artisanal, house-made pub favorites.
FoodWorks also features six state of the art DRYAGER™ cabinets where we dry age a range of incredible proteins which you can choose from to build your own butcher board— including fish and beef. From three-cheese flatbreads and wings to our fried chicken sandwich and "steak + frites," we're taking our artfully crafted beer to the next level with artisanal, house-made pub favorites that are certain to appeal to almost any palate—and designed to pair perfectly with our beer. No outside food/alcohol permitted.
We also reserve the Taproom and FoodWorks area for private events and parties. Just shoot an email to reservations@jailbreakbrewing.com to inquire about it!

Core Beers
These beers are a staple in our Taproom, and are available year-round for you to enjoy on draft.
Special Lady Friend - Hazy IPA, 7% ABV
Special Lady Friend is very special indeed. Originating from a sturdy base of 2-row, white wheat, and flaked oats, Special Lady Friend boasts a purified expression of Mosaic, given that Mosaic lupulin constitutes 50% of the dry hop by weight. Overripe pineapple, candied orange, and the fresh essence of blueberry dominate the nose, while the palate experience melds into a pithy melange of tropical fruit, ultimately resulting in a dry, yet soft, elegant finish.
Feed The Monkey - Orange Hefeweizen, 5.6% ABV, 14 IBUs
A german style hefeweizen that combines traditional notes of clove and banana with subtle citrus aromas and flavors to provide balance and complexity. With this hefeweizen, there's no fruit required we have it covered.
The Infinite - Amber Ale, 5.0% ABV, 19 IBUs
Easy drinking and infinitely smooth, this amber ale is classic in style yet uniquely approachable. Hits of roast and caramel lend to a slightly sweet malt with a semi-dry finish. Perfectly pint-worthy.
Clearly Righteous - West Coast-Style IPA, 6.7% ABV
Clearly Righteous started out as a series exploring different hop combinations through a West Coast Style IPA. We've narrowed it down to our favorite hop blend of Amarillo, El Dorado, and Citra for our latest iteration that is here to stay, which boasts bold citrus and tropical fruit flavors and juicy pineapple notes backed with a light floral aroma.
Crabtown Classic - Vienna Lager, 5.5% ABV
Our take on the true Vienna Lager is a stunning showcase for how malt and hop character can be simultaneously nuanced and complex, all while capturing an incredible level of drinkability.
Seasonal
The White Russian - Coffee Cream Ale, 5.5% ABV
Light in color yet full in flavor. An appropriate marriage of golden malts and perfectly roasted coffee from our friends at Ceremony Roasters. A hint of vanilla is added to recreate a White Russian worthy of The Dude's respect. Jailbreak abides!
Hey Porter - Robust Porter, 6.5% ABV
Hey Porter is a contemporary American iteration of the English classic robust porter, softened with a hefty proportion of malted oats. Notes of malted milk balls, baking chocolate, and a kiss of caramelized raisin drive the majority of flavor, while the roasted malt provides balance to maintain drinkability. This is a quintessential beer for early autumn!
Fall Funk - Apple Cinnamon Berliner Weisse, 4% ABV
Our beloved kettle-soured Berliner Weisse, Funk Sway, has been given the full fall treatment with copious additions of unpasteurized apple cider and fresh cinnamon sticks. Moderate lactic-acid sourness, a pleasingly tart sense of depth from the apple cider, and subtle prickling sensations of cinnamon weave such an elegant synergy of flavor that its consequent harmony feels uniform and unadulterated, despite emanating from seemingly disparate components. When you put on that first sweater this fall, this beer should be in your glass.
Over The Line - Double IPA, 8.2% ABV
Over the Line is our ode to the ever-evolving style of hazy IPA. Brewed with a hefty proportion of wheat, oats, and spelt, Over the Line slightly eschews the predominant flavor of "fruit juice" for a balanced approach on the palate. Please note that this beer is still incredibly fruit forward, largely due to our house yeast plus the addition of HBC 586 and Citra, but the inclusion of the New Zealand star Nelson Sauvin stops the beer from tasting like straight pineapple/orange juice, by adding an element of musky passionfruit and tropical white wine.
Oktoberfest - Oktoberfest Bier, 5.9% ABV
Dry, crisp, and imminently clean, this thirst-quenching pale lager pours a brilliant, deep golden hue, with orange highlights around the edges. Double-decocted with an all Weyermann Barke grist (Pilsner, Vienna, Munich), our Festbier remains dry yet malt-forward, deftly balanced by a fruit & spice medley of hop flavor from additions of Hallertau Mittelfruh, Hersbrucker, and Saphir.
Limited Release
Boats & Hose - Caribbean Style Lager, 4.8% ABV
This easy-drinking caribbean style lager is built on Hallertauer and Crystal hops, 2-Row Munich malt, and cassava. Expect a dry, slightly nutty flavor with a gentle flowery finish.
Goldie Hon - Hazy Golden Ale, 5.3% ABV
Our blonde ale is unapologetically hoppy, yet retains drinkability. Goldie Hon teems with immense aromatic blasts of peach and nectarine while an underpinning perfume of blueberry lurks in the background, exuding supreme elegance in its restraint.
Southern Crossed - NZ Rye Pilsner, 5.4% ABV
Dreamed up with our Virginia brewing compatriots Ardent Craft Ales (Richmond, VA), Southern Crossed is a delightfully thirst-quenching New Zealand-style rye pilsner deftly dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin. Kettle additions of both Motueka and Nelson Sauvin (mash, bittering, whirlpool) provide firm but pleasing bitterness as well as unmistakably New Zealand hop flavor. German malted rye provides a wonderful, earthy counterpoint to the tropical hop character while accentuating a dry finish. Eminently drinkable, Southern Crossed a taste of summer in early autumn. Cheers!
Ugandan vanilla is widely known for its intensity, and the Ugandan vanilla variant of Hey Porter is no different. The addition of this particular vanilla amplifies pre-existing characteristics in the beer, namely notes of cream, milk chocolate, and raisin. This is an example of pure vanilla decadence.
