We offer a wide range of treatments, many of which are based upon ancient healing practices, for balancing body, mind, and spirit. Each person is treated as an individual.

Acupuncture

A powerful healing modality that originated in China over 6000 years ago, acupuncture is used throughout the world. It is based on the concept of balance and harmony between both physical and emotional aspects of a human being. The art of acupuncture involves the stimulation of specific points located along channels that traverse the entire body. These are gateways through which the practitioner exerts influence upon organs and their functions, stimulating and activating the body's self-healing mechanism.

Herbalism

The origins of herbal medicine stretch back thousands of years to the beginning of civilization. At HHA, our herbalists are extensively trained and board certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine and Western Herbology. The methods employed are safe and efficient.

Reiki

Reiki is an ancient form of energy medicine that brings the life force energy into connection with the body's innate healing powers, restoring balance on emotional, mental, and physical levels by enhancing and accelerating the normal healing processes of mind and body.

Hypnosis Counseling

Hypnosis is rapidly emerging as a highly effective science in problem solving and can be beneficial in many cases as a therapy in itself. It works on a subconscious level and is regarded as a superb system of stress management. Hypnosis can be used to change patterns of behavior, address weight loss, enhance self-esteem, improve athletic performance, support the immune system. It also provides a beneficial adjunct treatment for persons living with illness.

Bach Flower Remedies

Bach Flower Remedies are a system of natural healing developed by the noted physician, Dr. Edward Bach, in the 1930's.Composed of 38 plant and flower based formulas, they can help manage the emotional demands of everyday life by bringing negative feelings and attitudes back into balance and perspective. FDA approved and safe for all ages, the Bach Flower Remedies can be used alone, and are also a wonderful addition to other healing modalities. Phone sessions are available. Massage Therapy

Massage is not only a way to relax the body, but also an effective treatment for healing the mind and spirit.. At HHA, we offer many forms of massage including Swedish, Myofascial, and Deep Tissue.

Aromatherapy

Therapeutic Grade A essential oils have a profound effect on our systems, promoting healing of body, mind, and spirit. The Raindrop Treatment helps to support the immune system while providing deep relaxation. We use only Young Living Essential Oils at HHA.

Guided Imagery

Guided Imagery is similar to meditative states and is a form of deliberate, directed daydreaming. It is a specific and purposeful use of the imagination, making use of specific words in order to evoke a multi-sensory experience of both fantasy and memory. This rich, multi-layered awareness assists in creating a deeply receptive mind state. Each session is tailored to the client's specific needs and is deeply relaxing.

AshWork Energy Clearing

Ash Energy Work is a new, gentle, and easy paradigm for energy clearing work - a total shift in healing techniques. It is indirect work that focuses not on the problem itself, but is an actual shortcut to change and improvement. It helps to release stuck patterns, restoring a state of greater ease and harmony. AshWork is effective for people, animals, situations, and environments.

Shamanism/ Spirit Medicine

Spirit Medicine is a process of working within the invisible and physical realms, the natural energies and forces, to facilitate healing for a being: person, community, place or thing. Spirit Medicine Healing Sessions are a blend of intuitive and learned techniques integrating shamanism and other earth centered traditions such as crystalline/universal light healing and energy/vibrational healing, as well as platica (talk) and the use of stones, crystals and other sacred tools. These sessions may be scheduled with or without any other Spirit Medicine service.

Feldenkrais Method

The Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education utilizes gentle movement and directed attention to improve function and breathing, facilitate ease of movement, and decrease pain and tension. It can help you learn to increase your ease and range of motion, improve your flexibility and coordination, and rediscover the freedom and pleasure of movement most often associated with childhood.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a 50% fee charge. Missed appointments, or appointments cancelled with less than 4 hours notice of the scheduled time, are billed at the full rate.
