Trainers
Tracy Pighin
Tracy grew up as part of a loving, military family and spent her childhood overseas, learning from an early age that with focus, discipline and a sense of humor, anything is possible. Tracy's natural ability to motivate helped launch her 10 year teaching career as a competitive cheer coach. Tracy has her STOTT PILATES® Level two full certification, along with Injury & Special Population (ISP) training, allowing her to work with an array of clients with varied fitness and mind/body goals. She is also trained or certified in Personal Training, TRX® Suspension Training, TRX® Rip Training, TABATA BOOTCAMP™, Bosu®, CARDIOLATES®, Pre & Post Natal Exercise and more. Tracy is devoted to providing a challenging, dynamic workout in each of her sessions. Tracy loves to learn as much as she loves to teach and stays current with the ever-evolving fitness industry. It gives Tracy great pleasure to have found a fulfilling career that makes others look and feel FABULOUS.
Karen Maestri
Karen joins Body Energy Fitness from the Livonia area where she currently teaches circuit training and senior strength and endurance classes. Karen is a certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness instructor and STOTT PILATES® Mat instructor. She enjoys working with clients one on one and in small groups, where she can provide individualized attention. She is excited to be a part of the B.E.F. team and is looking forward to working with clients and staff.
Debbie Mullins
Debbie is a 200 RYT Hatha Yoga instructor. She has been teaching different styles of yoga including yin, restorative, slow flow and vinyasa since 2014. In 2016, Debbie decided to expand her Mind Body knowledge and get trained in STOTT Pilates Mat work at Equilibrium Pilates Studio. She is also a certified Reiki and Thai Massage Therapist. Debbie has a passion for life and she brings peace and joy to every single style of class that she teaches. Debbie is excited to join our BE FIT Family.
Erica Fritz
Erica was born and raised in the Downriver Area. She truly began her fitness journey at Body Energy Fitness. After being diagnosed with Lupus, her husband introduced her to Tracy and Stott Pilates. She promptly fell in love with the healing energy of the studio and the idea of becoming a Certified Trainer. Erica is a Certified Group Fitness Trainer. She is also certified in Tabata GX, Fluid Strength, and One Day To Wellness. She plans on many more to come, as well! Her passion in life is to encourage others to find that special strength within themselves. She does not let her chronic illness define her, and believes that being fit is what saved her life. Erica is so excited to be part of the B.E.F. Team and work with the amazing community so everyone can #befit4life.
Kelly Lacroix
Kelly comes to BE Fit with an extensive background in athletics, coaching, strength training and manual bodywork. She is entering her 23rd year as Head Diving Coach at Wayne State University, where she also oversees the athletes' cardio and strength conditioning program. All movements of the body have always fascinated Kelly and that fascination has led her to become certified or trained in many healing and movement modalities including: Licensed Massage Therapy (Owner of Body Dynamics in Allen Park), IMAP Spinal Corrections and Integrative Strength Conditioning, TRX Suspension and Stott's Pilates, to name a few. All of these modalities help with decreasing muscle dysfunctions and connective tissue adhesions, to increasing Range of Motions for a more active life. Pilates was untried by Kelly until two years ago when she joined Body Energy Fitness in an attempt to help heal her back from a herniation injury. She quickly felt the improvement in core strength and the much needed pain relief in her back. After feeling the results and realizing the value of Pilates, she decided to become a Stott's Pilates Trainer to help pass along the knowledge and benefits to both her athletes and bodywork clients.

We are excited to announce that the first virtual class is set to go live at 5:30 PM today, 3/18/2020! Follow the guidelines below to make sure you are able to view and participate in the classes. Please head over to your MindBody account or your Body Energy Fitness app and ensure that we have the most accurate email address for you. This is how you will receive the invite to the live stream. If we do not have the correct email, you will not get a link from us. Make sure you register for your FREE zoom account as well. Click here to be taking to the Zoom log in page to create your account. Please make sure you are signed up for the class in MindBody or the App at least 10 minutes before the scheduled class time. This will ensure you get the link in time for the class to begin. Once you receive the email link from us, follow the prompts to access the live stream. Make sure you turn the volume up on your device as well, so you can hear the instructor. Please also be aware, the emailed link to join the live stream is only good for 5 minutes into the start of the class. If you are not logged-in in time, the link will no longer work. Please be sure to join the class on time to avoid missing out. Once you join the live stream, please comment "here" so we can mark you accounted for. All participants must wear clean socks.
Pilates Classes

Mat Pilates is a series of exercises to improve strength, balance, flexibility, stability, posture and help to relieve chronic pain. Pilates strengthens the core muscles of the pelvis, abdomen, and back. Small props (fitness circles, light-weighted balls, resistance bands, foam rollers, etc.) are also used. Mat Pilates is also been used in the rehabilitation setting. This class is for all ages, body types and fitness levels. Class Size: 5-20 participants. All participants must wear clean socks.
Reformer Classes

Reformer is a piece of resistant equipment designed specifically for Pilates. Resistance is provided by your body weight and/or springs to strengthen and lengthen your muscles while increasing flexibility, balance, range of motion and core stability. The Pilates Cadillac, Chair and/or some small props can also be used during this class. Reformers can be used for rehabilitation and athletic conditioning. Each class is customized for all ages, body types and fitness levels. Class Size: 2-5 participants. All participants must wear clean socks.
Personal Training
Our personal training programs are designed to benefit from beginning to advanced clients as well as those interested in sports specific or post-rehab training. Your trainer will work with you to find your best program and to make changes as your fitness level increases. Personal training sessions are offered as privates, duets or small groups. Clean non-outdoor gym shoes must be worn.
TRX® Fusion

TRX® Fusion is a well-balanced class designed to target every muscle in your body and to move in all planes of motion. The Fusion of Pilates into this workout makes it different and unique. TRX® was developed by a Navy Seal. TRX® is suspension training that is functional and helps with weight loss, improves performance, flexibility and core strength. TRX is about leveraging your own body weight to engage your core at all times. TRX can be adjusted to all fitness levels. Class Size: 3-10 participants. Clean non-outdoor gym shoes must be worn.

Workshops
Barre Above™
Barre Above™ fuses the very best of Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics, and Strength Training. You do not need to worry about dance experience. Barre above™ is barre for all bodies! Classes includes modifications for any fitness level, so you can feel successful while achieving an amazing workout that will lengthen, strengthen and tone your body. Class Size: 10 participants. Clean socks must be worn.
Reformer Mix - Special
Reformer Mix will fuse together all the Pilates Equipment into a circuit style class. The class with be taught in an interval format as a timed workout. The timing is determined by the instructor. In this class you will be lengthening and strengthening your muscles while increasing flexibility, balance, range of motion and core stability. Class Size: 5 participants. Previous Reformer experience required. Clean socks must be worn.
Tabata Express
30 minute HIIT workout, "participants experience short intervals based on Tabata Bootcamp's training that delivers a calorie drenching workout and post metabolic boost (ie. boosts your metabolism to burn calories after the workout). Tabata Bootcamp's motto is "Quality, not quantity". The programs offer effective workouts that maximize your results in minimal time". Clean non-outdoor gym shoes must be worn.
Slow Flow Yoga
This moderate paced flow class introduces foundational yoga postures You will move with your breath mindfully building strength, balance, and flexibility while maintaining focus and good alignment. Modifications will be offered to encourage participation from everyone. No Yoga experience needed. Class Size: 10 participants.
Stretch Series
This is a 4 or 8 Week Stretch class designed to stretch and strengthen all the muscles in your back, shoulders, arms, legs, glutes, low back and abdominals. Stretches can be done lying on the floor, sitting, standing or with small equipment. You will be encouraged to pause with each stretch and breathe through it to make it yours. Just a few minutes of stretching each day can help you stay limber for a lifetime. Wendy Fox a physical therapist at Women and Infants Hospital in Rhode Island says, "Stretching after exercise increases range of motion." Here are some of the benefits of stretching:
