About Us
For over a decade, The Barbecue Pit of Bronx, New York, has been serving tasty ribs, chicken, and one of a kind entrees with an Eastern Cuisine flare. The restaurant has one of Riverdale's most diverse menus, featuring dishes like salmon and shrimp biryani, tandoori chicken, eggplant with tofu and roasted red peppers, as well as staples of a classic barbecue menu.
Every dish is handmade by Ms.Vaswani herself. She shops in the market every morning for fresh ingredients before prepping the day's meals.The Barbecue Pit is well known for its catering menus and holiday specials, and a wide variety of fresh baked holiday pies.
