Aquatic Fitness Classes
All of our water instructors are certified nationally and enroll in continuing education classes yearly to maintain their certification and stay current with industry standards. Exercise in the water is tender on your joints; great resistance for your muscles plus a challenging cardiovascular workout. A good hard workout doesn't have to be hard on you. Our three wonderful pools are used for fitness classes. The indoor lap/fitness pool and the outdoor pool (open Memorial Day – Labor Day) temperature is 83-85 degrees. The therapy pool is 93 degrees. No swimming skills required (with the exception of power swim training), as you stay vertical.
Aquatic Class Descriptions
Aqua Zumba
Aqua Zumba is a mid to high intensity cardio workout that brings the fun and flavor of Zumba to the water for the ultimate pool party. Come experience Latin and International music such as salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton and others. If you worry about shaking it on the dance floor you can shake it in the water without anyone seeing you and have a blast. This is a great entry level class and also good for pregnant ladies. You can increase your intensity as your fitness level increases and work at your own pace. Classes are 45-50 minutes
H2O
A mid to high intensity workout. Classes are 50-60 minutes. Similar to a land aerobic class, but with all the benefits of the water; includes a warm-up, bodywork, aerobic segment, cool down and stretch BUT with the added benefit of the water! The H2O classes are taught in the indoor or outdoor pool-weather permitting. The H2O/Hydro is a combo class; shallow and deep are taught at the same time
Joint Effort
A movement and stretching class designed to enhance range of motion and increase flexibility. This class is for those with loss of mobility, arthritis or any other injury or limitation. Instructors certified by Arthritis Foundation. Classes are 50-60 minutes long and taught in both indoor pools
Hydro-Fit
Is a high intensity workout. This class is taught in the deep water. It is geared for those who need a challenge. You use the Hydro-Fit gear on your feet or waist for buoyancy and resistance. You'll experience sport moves, calisthenics and additional resistance. This is a great workout that challenges every muscle. No swimming skills required. Gear provided or it can be purchased at the member service desk, when available. Classes are 45 to 55 minutes
Adult Conditioning Swim Class
These clinics are held in the Spring and Fall. Class goal: to give you instruction and teach you proper technique. You will build your skills, endurance, strength and become a better swimmer. This is geared for beginners and intermediate swimmers. Your instructor Melissa will give you great feedback and teach breathing, kick, stroke and other necessary skills. Swim Club
for our youth swimmers. Gain endurance, skills, speed, technique and a love for swimming. Swim Club blocks: (approx months) summer June-July, fall Sept-Oct, winter Jan-Feb, Spring Mar-April. See registration for dates
Waves
PUSH the water and make some WAVES. A mid to high intensity workout. Classes are 50-55 minutes. Similar to a land cardio class, but with all the benefits of the water (see above); includes a warm-up, bodywork, cardio for 45 min, cool down and stretch The WAVES classes are taught in the indoor or outdoor pool-weather permitting. The Waves/Hydro is a combo class; shallow and deep are taught at the same time.
Power Swim Training
Swim training in the pool (swimming skills required). Swimming drills, cardio and resistance are incorporated into this high intensity, militant training class. Gain endurance and skills. Train the muscles you need to win or finish your next triathlon. Or just come for a "kick your butt" challenging workout. Training time 50-60 minutes.
SUP Yoga
SUP (stand up paddleboard) yoga is a yoga class taught on a SUP. Yes! On the board, your balance, core strength and coordination are challenged and constantly engaged. You might get wet, you might stay dry. But it is fun and challenging. Summer classes will travel to open water in our area. Board space is limited.

Strong by Zumba
Strong is 55-minutes of combined body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. NO DANCING REQUIRED!
Cardio Chisel
This class combines intense cardio intervals with strength training, using steps, BOSU, barbells, hand weights, bands, jump rope and body weight resistance. Fantastic music and lots of energy will get your heart Pumping and tone your body. (55 min class)
Group Core
GROW YOUNGER with 30 action-packed minutes of total core training! With our expert coaching, functional core training will strengthen your core, improve athletic performance, help prevent back pain, and give you ripped abs!
Group Power
A class using barbells and adjustable weights to tone and condition muscles while raising metabolic rate for rapid fat-burning with a verity of moves that will keep you coming back. (55 min. class)
H.I.T. Mixup
High Intensity Training. This class will make you sweat and push you to your limits! A full body workout in 55 minutes, we "mix" it up every week with cardio circuits and weight training. Time to push your Limits!!
High Fitness
HIGH Fitness is a hardcore, fun fitness class that incorporates aerobic interval training with music you love and intense easy to follow fitness choreography. It combines FUN with INTENSITY with CONSISTENCY. Together they make a recipe for success, repeat participation and results! HIGH Fitness produces a high caloric burn and full-body toning through its carefully formulated choreography that alternates between intense cardio peaks and toning tracks. Get Addicted to being fit!
Kangoo & Kangoo Power
An explosive, highly motivating, non-choreographed, interval-training program. It is specifically designed to challenge the whole body, building muscular strength and endurance. Each jump move is designed to focus on core stability, ensuring a balanced workout, to challenge even the fittest, but also the beginner. (55 min. class)
Kick Boxing
This class is 45 minutes of high intensity kickboxing, cardio, Jab, Cross, Hook, Upper Cut your way into great shape followed by 10 minutes of hard core ab blasting FUN, FUN, FUN!!!!
Krank Fusion
Krank Fusion Is a fusion of cycling and kranking in one class. You get the challenge of going from the bike to the Krankcycle doing short intervals. It is very challenging and a big calorie burner. 60%-98% of maximum heart rate (50 min class)
Power Krank
Power Krank Is a comprehensive workout that utilizes all training intensities and combines intervals and maximum effort with limited recovery. It will peak your heart rates, and produce high-caloric burns. 60%-98% of maximum heart rate. (40 min class)
Pound
A full body cardio jam session combing light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, isometric movements, plyometrics and isometric poses into a 45 min series.
Powercut
This weight lifting class uses bars, free-weights, and great music to get you through an hour of head to Toe muscle work. Cardio intervals are interjected between strength sets. Every class is different and all levels are welcome! (55 min. class)
RIPPED
This class is a 55 minute workout for athletes of all ages with movements such as squats, lunges, chest presses and bicep curls. This class is a fun and effective way to strength train.
Step Fusion
This class is a fusion of step choreography, athletic training, toning, core and stretching! Rev up your workout with variety and fun in this heart pumping, calorie burning class!! (55 min. class)
Stroller Bootcamp
This class is not just a stroll in the Park. It is a 50 minutes session of power walking/running and body toning exercises, improving your cardiovascular endurance, strength, and flexibility. This class uses interval training through a variety of drills (and much more) while bonding with your child.
Zumba
Dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it. Want to take your very first Zumba class but are afraid you won't be able to keep up? Don't be! Zumba is all about fun!
Zumba Gold
This class is designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, and/or people who are not used to exercising. The same Latin style of Zumba's music and dance, where Zumba Gold classes strive to improve balance, strength, flexibility and most importantly, heart health. (55 min. class)
Zumba Toning
The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks (or light weights), helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged! ... Lightweight maraca-like Toning Sticks enhances sense of rhythm and coordination, while toning target zones, including arms, core and lower body.
SilverSneakers Cardio
Get up & Go with an aerobics class for those new to fitness and/or seniors- this class is safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement, and upper body strength, abdominal conditioning, strength and relaxation exercises designed to energize your lifestyle. (55 min. class)
SilverSneakers Circuit
This class is designed for those new to fitness and/or seniors, We combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular endurance and muscle strength with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair for support, Stretching and relaxation exercises. (55 Minute class)
SilverSneakers Strength
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support, stretching, and relaxation exercises. (55 min. class)
SilverSneakers Yoga
This class will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. (Not on the floor!) (55 min. class)
Fit Kids
Fit Kids is a fun fitness class designed for children aged four years and above. Bring your kids for a fun and very active class that teaches them how to use their own bodies to be stronger and stay healthy.
Zumba Kids
Zumba Kids! Designed for kids ages 4 and up. Your little ones will have a blast in this fun class! It features kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba choreography.
Gentle Yoga
A Foundational approach to yoga for beginners or seasoned yogis to focus on alignment, breath and the fundamentals of healthy yoga practice. (55 min. class)
Meditation Yin Yoga
Unwind and restore with this blissful practice. Centering vinyasa, pranayama (breath work) and kriyas (intention specific postures) flow into guided meditation. (55 min. class)
Moving Meditation
Unwind and restore with this blissful practice. Centering vinyasa, pranayama (breath work) and kriyas (intention specific postures) flow into guided meditation. (55 min. class)
Power Yoga
Power Yoga is a vigorous, fitness based approach to vinyasa yoga, its more of a cardio output. Its gird towards the Ashtanga method.
Vinyasa and Power Vinyasa
This interdisciplinary approach connects breath and body through flowing asanas (postures) and stretches. If you're looking for a challenge try our Power Vinyasa classes (may incorporate weights, inversions or advanced postures). They will rock your week! (55 min. class)
Yoga Stretch
A yogi-licious reward for your week. Juicy slow vinyasa and asanas to encourage greater mobility. Happy thoughts and guided mediation for dessert. (55 min. class)
We open at 4:30am Monday and are open 24 hours every day until we close at 10pm on Saturday.
Sundays we're open 11 am to 7 pm
