Our annual Altius Expo Week is June 4 - 9 Students and coaches are hard at work memorizing routines & perfecting skills to demonstrate for their families and friends.

Kindergym students will perform on four circuits in the back of the gym.
A special seating area will be set up along the back wall of the gym for up-close Kindergym viewing.
Progressive gymnastics students will perform on vault, bars, beam, floor and boy's equipment.
Additional seating will be provided near the bleachers for viewing.
All Expo performances end with a trophy presentation and an opportunity to take group and individual pictures.
Remember to bring your camera! Some evening sessions will include a tumbling demonstration by Altius Team gymnasts, and the coaches.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
Admission is free. Please remember that only participating Altius students are allowed on the equipment. Siblings should be closely supervised in the waiting area.

With the assistance of a parent or adult caregiver; bond with your child through physical movement and exploration! This 40 minute class features 25 minutes of developmentally-appropriate activities lead by a coach, followed by 15 minutes of free time for your child to safely explore our Kindergym equipment, trampolines, and foam pit.
Sparks (Summer) / Sparklers (Fall)
Ages 2 - 3.5 Years | 40 Minutes | Promotion based on Age & Emotional Readiness. With the assistance of a parent or adult caregiver, children develop confidence, coordination, and social skills in this introductory class. Skills include jumping on two feet, tuck hang on bars, walk across the balance beam, forward roll down a hill.
Flares
Ages 3 - 4 | 45 Minutes | Promotion based on Age & Emotional Readiness. Children learn fundamental gymnastics movements and terminology, along with motor coordination and independence. Skills include hopping on one foot, front support on bars, bear walk on beam, handstand against a wall.
Flames & Flames Combined
Ages 3 - 5 | 55 Minutes | Promotion based on Age & Emotional Readiness. A combined age class for quieter times in the gym. Students are challenged to their ability level with Flares and Flames skills.

Ages 4 - 5 | 55 Minutes | Promotion based on Age & Emotional Readiness. Instruction focuses on basic gymnastics and motor skills to prepare students for success in gymnastics and other sports. Skills include skipping, push-off pull over on bars, walking across a raised beam, cartwheels, backward roll down a hill.

Altius Kindergym Classes teach children to associate fitness with fun. Theme-based lesson plans infuse traditional gymnastics skills with imagination and creativity; walking across the balance beam becomes crossing a bridge over alligators!
Challenging
Our goal is to keep your children excited about fitness. Event circuits and stations are designed to challenge even seasoned veterans of the Kindergym Program. Class age divisions ensure a learning environment that is geared towards the appropriate developmental stage.
Relevant
Children gain a foundation of physical, cognitive, and emotional skills necessary for success in athletics and academics. Lesson plans reinforce shapes, colors, numbers, and directions. Balance and integrated motor activities develop reading-readiness skills.
Ages 5 - 6.5 | 55 Minutes | Promotion based on Age/Skill. For girls who are brand new to gymnastics or need a softer transition between Flames and Class 1. Includes instruction on both regular equipment and smaller scale equipment in the Kindergym area. Benefits: Covers the "building blocks" of gymnastics in a small class setting with a 7 to 1 class size. New concept introduction takes place in a quiet, small-scale environment with fewer distractions. Skills can be transferred to regular equipment when students feel confident.

Ages 6 - 8 | 75 Minutes | Promotion Based on Skill Mastery. Girls learn vault, bars, beam and floor with a focus on basic technique, individual achievement and overall fitness. Skills Include: Class 1: Hurdle straight jump on vault, pullover off a block, releve walk on balance beam, handstands. Class 2: Kick to handstand tree-fall, pullover off of the floor, mini-handstand on balance beam, cartwheels.
Girls Class 3-4
Ages 7 - 10 | 90 Minutes | Promotion Based on Skill Mastery. Girls learn vault, bars, beam and floor with a focus on basic technique, individual achievement and overall fitness. Skills Include: Class 3: Jump to handstand tree-fall, frozen back hip circle, ¾ handstand on balance beam, round-offs. Class 4: Run to handstand tree-fall, cast back hip circle, side handstand on balance beam, back handsprings.
Novice 1-2 & Advanced 3-4
Ages 9 & Up | 90 Minutes | Promotion Based on Skill Mastery. Instruction for gymnasts ages 9 & Up. Provides in-depth coaching and detailed skill work. Skills Include: Novice: Dive rolls on vault, pullovers, back hip circles, mini-handstands, and round-off. Advanced: Handstand tree-fall on vault, cartwheels on beam, round-off back handspring in the resi pit, Vault over table, kips on bars, back walkover on beam, round-off back handspring on floor, front & back tucks.

Girls ages 6 - 10 move through classes 1 - 4 and benefit from fast-paced instruction, while gymnasts ages 9 & up can thrive with in-depth skill work in our Novice - Advanced classes. Small class sizes allow coaches to handle multiple levels in one group.

Skills include: Forward rolls, cartwheels, round offs, front & back walkovers, front & back handsprings, aerials. Youth, Junior, and Senior designations refer to age groups. Enrollment in the appropriate age group is recommended but not required.
Back Handspring Clinics
Ages 6 - 12 | 75 Minutes | Boys & Girls. Is your goal to learn a back handspring and connected skills? Sign up for a Back Handspring Clinic and learn how to do beautiful back handsprings, along with basics such as round offs, cartwheels, and backward rolls! Participants should already be proficient in cartwheels. Available on Select Days.
Summer League is for recreational gymnasts to practice and learn routines. They perform these routines at a series of in-house meets. Routines are based on USA Gymnastics Xcel Program Bronze & Silver guidelines. Routines will be scored by judges, with awards for both score achievement and score placement (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc...).
Who Can Participate?
In-House is a competetive gymnastics league for Girls in Class 1&2, Class 3&4, Novice 1&2, and Advanced 3&4, and for Boys in Class 1&2 or 3&4.
Are There Other Requirements?
Participation in the Summer League does not require registration in a regular skills class. However, students who wish to come on an additional night will receive 20% off their second class price. The League fee includes all practices, competitions, and awards. Gymnasts who enrolled in the school year league will use the same uniforms. Uniforms for new League members are an additional cost.
In-House is a competitive gymnastics league for girls ages 6 & up.
League gymnasts practice and learn routines to perform at a series of in-house meets. Routines are based on USA Gymnastics Xcel Program Bronze & Silver guidelines.

Routines will be scored by judges, with awards for both score achievement and score placement (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc).
Participation in the League requires registration in both a regular skills class and the league practice night.

Boys Xcel League
Boys Xcel League is a local competitive gymnastics league for boys ages 7 & Up currently enrolled in our Progressive Class Program (Boys Classers 1-4).
Xcel League gymnasts practice and learn routines to perform at two local competitions with gymnastics from other clubs.
Routine are based on USA Gymnastics Xcel Program Bronze and Silver guidelines and competitions are sanctioned by USA Gymnastics.
Routines will be scored by judges, with awards for score achievement.

Gym Ninja Training
Ages 7 - 12 / 55 Minutes. Students work on a variety of rolls, jumps, strength, and obstacle course training in a disciplined and focused setting. Class features: Warped wall, hanging wood grips, countless mat obstacles, trampoline, daily challenges, and strength.
Private lessons
Ages 5 - 18 | 30 Minutes. Altius Gymnastics Academy offers private lessons for members and non-members. Our private lessons are run by either Coach Austin or Coach Drew, and can cover a wide variety of skills- from building strength and flexibility to mastery in specific gymnastics or tumbling skills. There is a 2 child maximum per slot, and they must be listed on the same registration form.

Homeschool Gymnastics
Ages 5 - 18 | 55 Minutes. Our hour-long homeschool class features instruction on all Olympic events, plus trampoline, and gymnastics-inspired fitness activities, all in a fun & safe environment. Express Gymnastics
Ages 5 - 16 | 55 Minutes. A one hour "express" class for boys and girls ages 5 - 16. Instruction will cover Class 1-4 skills and incorporate strength, coordination, and obstacle course training. Reduced tuition is based on three classes per month to accommodate busy schedules - take a night off guilt-free or get a great deal by attending every week. Sorry, no discounts. Aerial Silks and Lyra
Ages 10 & up / 55 Minutes / 6 Week Sessions. Tuesdays from 4:30 - 5:30. A one hour weekly class with instruction covering aerial silks and lyra hoop. Recommended that participants can perform at least one unassisted pull up. Session 3: January 9th - February 13th Session 4: February 27th - April 17- NO CLASS 3/27 & 4/3.
