In February 1996, when I opened Thai Spice Restaurant my aim was to create a traditional Thai cuisine in the heart of Houston. Almost a decade into it and my dream has become a reality. The restaurant has grown from one to five locations in the Houston area. Each location reflects individual style, charm and comfort. The menus undergo constant refinement with regular meetings between my head chef and I, and the staff continually receives personal guidance and training. With these systems and strategies in place it is easy to see why I regard Thai Spice as an international ambassador of Thailand. In my eyes, the recipe for true success is Thai food culture combined with hospitality to create an authentic Thai ambiance, that reflects the land of smiles.
