2011 Pinot Grigio

at montevina winery, we come from a long line of pioneers, so it’s no surprise that we produced our first pinot grigio long before this classic italian varietal became trendy. with aromatics of ripe pear, summer peach and lotus blossom, our vibrant pinot grigio offers refreshing flavors of juicy bartlett pears and citrus with subtle traces of nutmeg and spice. well-balanced and approachable, this wine is the ultimate palate-pleaser.

2011 Sauvignon Blanc

at montevina winery, we believe in letting the beautiful, bare flavors and characteristics of our sauvignon blanc grapes shine through. this minimalist approach results in a classically-styled wine with clean, citrusy and crisp flavors on the palate. with aromas of fresh-cut grass and citrus zest, and ripe fig and cool melon flavors balanced by racy acidity, our sauvignon blanc is a natural for both casual get-togethers and swanky affairs.

2010 Chardonnay

made from grapes grown in some of california’s finest cool-climate vineyards, montevina chardonnay is a rich, golden-hued wine with seductive aromas of tart apples and figs. crisp flavors of tropical fruit and ripe pear are layered with hints of vanilla bean and toasted almonds for added dimension. bright acidity balances the rich flavors and makes our chardonnay especially food-friendly.

2010 White Zinfandel

for more than 30 years, montevina has produced award-winning white zinfandel from premium amador county grapes grown in the rugged sierra foothills. bursting with the aromas of summer strawberries and ripe honeydew melon and the flavors of juicy peaches and watermelon, our delightful white zin has just a touch of sweetness balanced by bright acidity.

2008 Zinfandel

2009 Barbera

montevina barbera is delightfully honest and down-to-earth, with rich, concentrated flavors. widely planted during the gold rush by italian immigrants, this classic varietal offers luscious fruit flavors and happy acidity making it an extremely versatile, food-friendly wine. discover our barbera’s tempting black cherry and toffee aromas, and ripe, blackberry and pomegranate flavors with hints of toasty graham cracker.

2009 Cabernet Sauvignon

made with grapes grown in some of california’s most exclusive vineyards, montevina cabernet sauvignon offers classic varietal characteristics like ripe cherry aromas, complex flavors, silky tannins and great age potential. but as distinctive as it is, it’s also friendly and unpretentious with plenty of wild currant and plum flavors, with hints of allspice and dark chocolate on the palate.
