The Coffee Cake has held a place in Italian culture for centuries. In Italian communities in South Philadelphia and all over the country, "coffee and cake" serves as a place for family and friends to come together to share in each other lives. It's through these "get-togethers" that many tears, laughs and sometimes debates take place. Termini Brothers now offers some of the cakes that have taken center stage during these gatherings over the past 90 years. So put on the coffee, cut the cake and share your life with those who surround you. Please keep in mind that we do not use preservatives in our products. They are at their best within 24 hours of receipt.
Chocolate Crumb Cake

Sfogliatelle Gift Package

6 Handmade Sfogliatelle (pronounced "s-voy-a-dell") made from Giuseppe Termini's original Napolean recipe. Sfogliatelle, which means "many leaves" are a traditional pastry from Naples. The dough, similar to a puff pastry (although a bit crispier), is mixed, rolled and shaped by hand and filled with a mixture of our Organic Ricotta Cheese, Sweetened Cooked Farina and house-peeled Orange Peel. They are best served in the morning with a cup of hot espresso.

4 Handmade Fig Bars, which are made using tender cookie dough that encases a mixture of freshly ground figs, Marsala wine, hazelnuts and semi-sweet chocolate chips. We hand grind fresh figs to use as the base for the fig bar filling. Fresh ground figs are mixed with chocolate chips, whole filberts, and an assortment of secret ingredients. These are a traditional Sicilian dessert most often served at Christmas or at weddings, but we love to eat them ALL the time!
