Tat's East Coast Delicatessen was started by Brian Tatman & Jason Simodejka in the spring of 2004. Both Brian (Tat) and Jason grew up on the East Coast in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas and moved to Seattle circa 1996. It didn't take long to realize that Seattle wasn't taking full advantage of the tasty culinary treats that their hometowns had to offer. After years of searching for the perfect location, testing recipes and coordinating vendors to supply us with truly authentic product lines, we finally began to realize our dream.
We found a classic spot in Pioneer Square where we saw our opportunity to bring the tastes of home to Seattle. Through hard work, determination and support of both family and friends we began to serve Seattle a little taste of what the East Coast has to offer.
