Michelle Marooco, a California native has been an Indiana resident for over 25 years. Graduating from the Butler University with a minor from John Heron School of Art, she is now base in Carmel, Indiana where she resides with her two sons. Mixed media, primarily oil and charcoal and the ancient hot wax tech technique of encaustic, charatizerize her energetic and emotionally charged work. Honored at the 2001 Hoosier Salon annual exhibition, Michelle’s unique vision has been featured in several shows and is included in prominent collections from New York to California.
