The Riviera Restaurant and its continental tradition of dining has been a part of Orange County Scene for over thirty years. It was one of the first classical gourmet restaurants of its kind when it opened in the South Coast Plaza in 1967. After thirty years of successful operation in South Coast Plaza, this award winning restaurant has moved to the City of Westminster in the location of another legendary landmark restaurant "The Fireside."
Consistency from day one is one of the reasons Riviera has maintained its first class food quality and service. The majority of kitchen and dining room staff including the chef and manager have been with the Riviera for over twenty five years. Riviera is one of the few restaurants in Southern California that still offers tableside food preparation and Flambé dishes such as Caesar Salad, Spinach Salad with hot bacon dressing, Filet Diane, Pepper Steak Flambé, Duckling A L'Orange, Cherries Jubilee and Crepes Suzette.
