Nian Chou, part owner, has family and friends who own other restaurants in North Dakota; one in Grand Forks, one in Bismarck and one in Minot. She decided to open a restaurant in Williston because people from Williston who dined at the Minot restaurant would ask for her to open one here. With the oil industry causing the population to grow, Chou decided moving to Williston would be a successful venture.
