Park’s Seafood has been a family owned business since first opening its doors in 1956 as Park’s Provisions, which became Park’s Fish Market. Park’s Fish Market was started by the late James Howard Park, SR. and his wife Mattilou Park.
James Howard Park, Jr. (Jim Park) worked many jobs at the market before opening Park’s Seafood Restaurant next door in October 1976. It was a natural location, considering all the fresh fish needed to meet the demands of the restaurant as well as those wanting to bring fish home.
