Robert began crabbing when he was just 2 years old in Fenwick Island, DE. He began steaming blue crabs in the mid-80s at Jim’s Seafood in Ocean City, MD. He opened Steamed Blues, a crab house in Phoenix, AZ from 1995 - 1999. Beginning in 2000, Robert and Rosemary began construction on a seafood processing plant in North Carolina. We wanted the best quality control for our blue crabs from the time they are caught to the time they are steamed. In 2006, we opened On The Bay Seafood in Ocean City, MD. So, after all these years, we have finally perfected the process of catching, trucking, steaming and delivering our own crabs!
