About Us
Nello Cucina is a classic Italian trattoria, located in the atrium of Crystal Court at South Coast Plaza. Nello Cucina has an outdoor feeling of dining in a Piazza in a small town in Italy. The aromas emitting from the open kitchen and the wood burning pizza oven fills the air and stimulates the senses.
As you take a voyage through this gastronomical adventure, the pasta is a must. Rotolo di Spinaci (baked rolled up pasta filled with ricotta and spinach, on a bed of marinara sauce and topped with béchamel and melted mozzarella cheese), Risotto of the day made with the freshest ingredients. Pizza con Burrata, cooked in the wood burning oven which takes this Italian favorite food to another dimension. Many traditional dishes such as veal and chicken are available, not to mention a local favorite, Osso Buco which is served on a bed of saffron risotto. Fresh fish is delivered daily and is served with the chef’s creative hand.
To complete your meal all desserts are made fresh daily, along with a full bar and an extensive wine list to compliment your culinary experience.
