Ed and June Hoffman have over 26 years in the restaurant business together.
As they had their first two children Marie and Adam Hoffman, they moved up to Eastside of Seattle, Washington to Kirkland to open and run a still existing Hoffman's Fine Pastries where they were for 16 years.
Their love of California beckoned and the family returned to California to open Hoffman's Bakery Cafe in September 2001. Hoffman's downtown has come a long way in 10 years. The business has recently been passed on to Ed and June's only son Adam a graduate of UCSC. Adam's most recent accomplishment is opening the Global Village Cafe, a globally inspired cafe at the heart of UCSC in the McHenry Library.
Now, Hoffman's Bistro and Patisserie and has recently been featured on the Food Network's hit tv show "Restaurant Impossible" with celebrity chef Robert Irvine and now this once struggling family owned and operated restaurant has another chance to thrive.
