them right! she discovered this recipe at her
restaurant in shelton, wa in the 80s. it soon
became a customer and family favorite. its an
awesome chocolate chip cookie with a hint of
ginger and cinnamon in the dough, then rolled in
powdered sugar before baking to give a unique
texture and appearance

made with oatmeal, pb, chocolate chips,
& m-ms, this recipe originated with the librarian at
north beach high school in the late 70s. it became
a larson family favorite and was sold in the familys
restaurants. its great for people with flour allergies

heidi grew up during the 70s
making these treats in longview, wa. she found
the recipe in a local church cookbook, and these
became a family favorite especially during the
holidays. its butter, graham cracker crumbs,
chocolate chips, walnuts, coconut and sweetened
condensed milk layered and baked.
Thelmas Chocolate Chip
this recipe comes from
thelma in lynden, wa. she was an 80+ years
young die-hard mariners fan who works in the stand
where we get our fresh strawberries every june.
she gave us a sample; we loved it and got her
permission to sell it in the grace cafe. its a cross
between a sugar cookie and shortbread with
chocolate chips.

this is a treasure from one of those
grocery store check out line booklets all about
cookies. it was worth the $3.00 we paid! it has an
oatmeal crunch bottom, raspberry jam, chocolate
chips, and the remaining oatmeal crunch sprinkled
on top.
Big Pink Sugar Cookies

business, these cookies have been affectionately
named big pink cookies and are preferred that
way...no option on the frosting color. this is by far
the best sugar cookie. the frosting is a bonus.
Nanaimo Bars
this is the most decadent of treats
and an instant endorphin rush. the recipe is
actually printed on the tin of birds custard powder
that is found primarily in england and canada. the
bar is layered with a crust of chocolate/graham
crackers/walnuts/butter, then buttery custard filling,
and semi-sweet chocolate spread on top.
