Dalat restaurant was founded in April of 1990 by Lang Bui, a chef, an immigrant from Vietnam. It is a family owned business, and located on westbound of Michigan Avenue in downtown Ypsilanti, home of Eastern Michigan University (EMU). A popular Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti restaurant for its entire 19 years history serving traditional Vietnamese fair in with a certain panache.
