Country Boys Food Inc., are part of the Red Hook Food Vendors based in Brooklyn, New York.
The owner's Fernando and Yolanda Martinez originate from Puebla, Mexico, and have been serving up traditional foods like sope's, chalupa's, taco's, quesadilla's and huarache's in Red Hook Park since 1993, back when they used all they had: one grill and two tables. Thanks to word of mouth, curiosity grew about the enormous tortillas and the wide array of healthy fresh toppings. It's been over 15 years now and they still wait on the corner of Bay and Clinton St. from May to October, to serve their ever growing clientele.
Today Country Boys Food Inc. is proud to serve at its sister site The Mercado in Red Hook Brooklyn. Have received much recognition and love, winning a Vendy Award ("The Oscar's of food in real New York") and also catering for their hungry fans at several weddings/social events & private parties including: the ABC network, The Colbert Report and more. They have also been featured in 'Aqui y Ahorra', a popular spanish news program.
