Starting as a mere dream of owner/manager Alicia Rodriguez thirteen years ago, Chimichurri Grill is now a proud family-owned and family-operated enterprise in Midtown West. We are an Argentine “parrilla” (grill) whose methods have been updated to meet the demanding palates and service expectations of today’s New Yorker. Our name pays homage to the “chimichurri” sauce that remains a huge part of traditional Argentine “criollo” culture. Chimichurri is a slightly tangy, slightly spicy sauce made of oil, vinegar, garlic, parsley and red pepper flakes. This sauce is one of the national treasures of Argentina, and our own versions from our family’s secret recipes are featured prominently throughout our menu, and accompanies all our steaks.
