Celestin’s Restaurant opened its doors on J Street in November 1983 and has been proudly serving authentic Caribbean & Cajun cuisine to the Sacramento community since. Celestin’s was created by Patrick & Phoebe Celestin who were inspired by Patrick’s family, natives of Port au Prince, Haiti. Imaginative cooking is a trademark of Celestin’s family and dishes like Sea Scallops in Coconut lime sauce, Chicken Curry, Jambalaya and Gumbo are staples of our menu.
In 2001, we moved locations to 1815 K street and expanded by adding a full bar and lounge. Bright tropical colors and authentic Caribbean artwork adorn our walls and popular drinks include Mojitos, Sangria, Caipirinha’s as well as many other signature specialties.
