From our humble beginning as the "little lunch spot," Cafe 501 has become synonymous with a discriminating taste in good wine and great food. In 1995, we opened the door to our first love, Cafe 501 Edmond. The vision for our little restaurant on the corner of Fifth & Boulevard was simple; extend warm hospitality to make close friends and offer delicious food to fill our tables with loyal guests. It is a romantic notion. One that we have held onto for over 15 years.
Our love of good food is inspired by our travels around the globe. We have collected thousands of ideas and recipes from France, Italy, South America, Morocco, Germany, and Austria. The diverse influences are found throughout our menu and bakery offerings. From rustic stone oven pizzas, to fresh, uniquely designed salads and delicious specialty sandwiches on house-made artisan breads, 501 offers a harmonious balance between hand-crafted cuisine and a sophisticated yet casual atmosphere that is true to Oklahoma. In August 2010, we opened our second 501 eatery at Classen Curve, on the corner of Grand and 58th in Oklahoma City. There, we continue to offer our signature colorful, European-inspired cuisine
