We are a casual, European-inspired neighborhood brasserie located on Madison's historic Monroe Street. Our concept is really pretty simple. It was borne out of the passion for the French Joie de Vivre developed over years spent in France and Belgium, and combines our love of rustic French food paired with Belgian beer and noble wines.
Our name is derived from the French word brasser which means to brew, and brasserie which means brewery. In France and Belgium, a brasserie is a type of restaurant that evolved from Alsatian breweries that serves alcohol (typically beers), and simple plates of food. They tend to serve more popular French or Belgian dishes from many different regions.
We also offer an extensive rotating selection of over 250 world-class beers, including 80 Belgians, and 25 tap options. You can also enjoy our full wine list featuring mostly European wines, all by the glass or the bottle.
We are currently open for dinner service on Wednesday through Saturday and lunch on Fridays and Saturday. We offer an extensive rotating selection of world-class craft beers with a focus on Belgian taps and bottles. All of our beer coolers are temperature-controlled so the beers are presented at the recommended temp for the style. You can also enjoy our full wine list featuring mostly European wines, all by the glass or the bottle.
Our team prepares our food from scratch on-premise, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. While we are inspired globally, we source locally where we can. Some of our current local sources include Highland Spring Farm, Straight Forward Farm, Potter’s Crackers, Bleu Mont Dairy, Garden To Be, Mushroom Mike, Madison Sourdough bread and Cha Cha Tea among others.
