Boulevard Clams was established in April 1979 by two clammers as a wholesale facility to process and ship clams throughout the Eastern coast. Two months later a retail clam store and fish market were opened.In 1983 the floor space was doubled to include a kitchen, clam bar, and restaurant. The fish market was expanded and the modern Boulevard Clams era began.In 1987, a second floor was added and an outside dining area was created and landscaped to the present structure.
