ACCHANALIA The literal translation for bacchanalia in Italian is a festival of food, wine, and fun. It derives its name from Bacchus the god wine and frivolity.
The building that BACCHANALIA is in has had many previous tenants. BACCHANALIA however is unique in that we specialize in private functions. In this capacity, BACCHANALIA has flourished since opening its doors for business in February 2005.
The owner/operator of BACCHANALIA, ERIC PARRINELLO, is over a 35-year veteran of the restaurant business who has worked extensively in all facets of the industry. He began his career at the young age of 15 and has been hooked ever since. Eric began his career in the kitchen and has worked with and for some of the most talented chefs and culinarians in the industry.
ERIC PARRINELLO was PRESIDENT of the THE GREATER KANSAS CITY RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION in 2006 and currently serves as CHAIRMAN for the association. ERIC has been a member of the MISSOURI RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION for 6 years. ERIC is also a board member of the KANSAS RESTAURANT AND HOSPITALITY ASSOCIATION.
ERIC and his wife KRISTI reside in Johnson County and four children AUGUSTE, HANNAH, VINCENT, and LEO.
The concept of BACCHANALIA is quite simple yet it is also very unique and new to the area, BACCHANALIA is simply a private dining facility. This facility is unique because it can be adapted to suit the needs of any guests.
