Serving Galveston since 1960 translates into "Apache Mexican Cuisine must be doing something right! Family-owned and operated, the second generation of proprietors insists on offering patrons the freshest ingredients in everything they have to offer. The enchiladas are a local favorite, but there is something for everyone's palate. Lunch goers can take advantage of a very affordable "Homestyle Special" which feature special recipes directly from the matriarch's hometown in Mexico. Some examples are Calabaza con Pollo (Squash w/chicken), Fideo con Carne (Vermecelli noodles w/beef) and Chicken Mole. Mexican breakfast is also available along with their own homemade chorizo, Mexican barbacoa, and menudo. Dinner features some interior-Mexican inspired recipes such as Pollo Celaya, which was featured in Texas Monthly magazine.
