Zuni was established in 1992 by a C.P.A who wanted to create a comfortable restaurant with expertly prepared food served at a reasonable price.The cuisine itself can be described as "New American"; a marriage of fresh and seasonal ingredients prepared with a cosmopolitan sensibility. Here, the humble Turkey and Veal Meat loaf is transformed into a sublime experience. Pumpkin Seed Crusted Catfish and Cornmeal Chicken seem perfectly logical on a menu which also includes Steak Au Poivre and Latin Spiced Pork Tenderloin with Chimichurri Sauce. Lighter dishes include Mahi Mahi with Grilled Mediterranean Vegetables and a Watercress, Apple, Pear and Hot Goat Cheese Salad, accented with Dried Cranberries and Toasted Pecan Vinaigrette. All the while the bar churns out exotic flavored Margaritas, Wine, Beer, Cocktails and Martinis.
