yuba is a Japanese translation for tofu skin or tofu film, the formation of film during the process of making tofu when the curding vat of soymilk cools down. Our specialty is Japanese-Nouveaux cuisine and our desire is to bring novel and unique tastes to the East Village. Off of Astor Place, there is a quaint restaurant on 9th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenue that embodies warmth, lightness, and coziness.
