Sunrise Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Yoga Therapy

Body Flow Vinyasa Yoga

"Karma Class" - Intro to Ashtanga Yoga

Memberships, punch cards, passes will not be used. Please bring a monetary donation, non-perishable food item, a bag or can of cat or dog food, or clean article of clothing to donate to either the Mooresville Christian mission, the Mooresville Soup Kitchen, or one of the animal shelters in Iredell county. This strong intro class will teach the fundametals of Ashtanga Yoga, with Sun Salutations, Ujjayi breathing, energy locks and Vinyasas to prepare a student for the full primary series of Ashtangs Yoga.

Gentle Just Roll with It - foam rolling

This 60 minute class is open to all levels of practice and most abilities, this soothing class focuses on basic yoga poses. Spinal alignment, muscle tightness and restriction can be corrected by gently targeting certain muscle groups with the foam rollers during a class.
Slow Hatha Flow Yoga

HOT Rhythmic Flow

In this class you will be guided to discover the connection between breath and body movement in a creative rhythmic flow that syncs to the unique musical playlist. This outside-the-box class gives you a HOT sweaty asana practice as well as being more mindfully clear. Leaving your heart & spirit inspired by the end of this 75 minute flow. Prerequisite Notes: This is a heated room, so if you like to sweat this is a good class for you. If you have any health concerns such as pregnancy, hypertension, kidney problems, this is not the class for you. This class will infuse the best of both PIYO strength and Flex & Flow yoga/pilates class. Great class for strengthening your entire core, as well as quads, glutes, and upper body. Not as fast paced as the PIYO strength class. This lunch class will be 60 minutes
Hatha Yoga
Start Time: 10:30 am; Teacher: Talei Allen; Location: Your Karma - Downtown; Room: Yoga Classroom - Downtown; Duration: 1 hour & 15 minutes. Unlike a Vinyasa based class in which students flow through poses, connecting with their breath, there are mostly static poses. You will experience Surya Namaskar, standing and seated postures, including twists and binds, backbends, inversions, and arm balances for core strength, flexibility, balance and concentration. Asanas in a hatha class are generally held longer than that of a Vinyasa flow class. Prerequisite Notes: A strong foundation in yoga is recommended for this class.

PiYo
Start Time: 7:00 pm; Teacher: Rachel Holly; Location: Your Karma - Downtown; Room: Yoga Classroom - Downtown; Duration: 1 hour. PiYo is a class that combines Pilates with Yoga. It is a faster paced class than a Slow Flow yoga, providing a higher intensity and challenging workout similar to Vinyasa Flow. It is designed to build strength, enhance agility, and increase balance. This is a 60 minute class.
We offer many yoga classes, such as Ashtunga, Vinyasa, Baptiste, Hatha, and Slow Flow classes. We offer therapeutic yoga, as well as a variety of Gentle / Restorative classes. We also offer Mat Pilates as well as several yoga / pilates mixed classes such as PIYO, and Flex and Flow. We just expanded our hours, and are now offering early morning classes, as well as more classes on the weekend. We offer a variety of bodywork including Swedish massage, Neuromuscular work, Pregnancy massage, Cupping, Reflexology, Chakra Energy and Reiki Energy work.
