Children learn to score, break, polish and arrange
colored glass to create functional and beautiful pieces such as spoon rests,
dishes, key chains, necklaces, night
lights and sun catchers.

Campers work with larger pieces of glass with a
concentration on composition in relation to shape and function of the finished pieces.
Ages 11+

Emphasis on depth and detail in landscaping vistas
with greater degree of sophistication in artwork.

Hissong from ‘Rocktown Bites’ Food Tours team up to offer a Cooking School
& Art Camp combo.
While learning cooking basics, campers prepare
their daily lunches that are sure to become go-to menus in their own households. Several culinary themed field trips are
included. When not mixing up delicious
food in the kitchen, camper’s creative juices will be unleashed on pottery,
fused glass, and clay, designing items to equip their kitchens at home with
basic cooking essentials. Projects include condiment dishes, utensil holders,
serving plates, measuring cups and spoons, napkin rings, pitchers and as much
as time allows. The last day of camp
will culminate in a meal, at which parents will be our guests, a fabulous luncheon
prepared by the budding artist/chefs.
