Alignment-based yoga with both static and dynamic postures. An effective skill building practice where you progress safely and learn new techniques. Intelligently sequenced from beginning to end to increase joint stability, musculature flexibility and necessary strength for balanced action. Breath and meditation is taught throughout. Awakening, expansive and mindful. YOGA 1-3 suits most levels.
An experienced yoga therapist leads a class designed to safely and slowly strengthen and stretch major muscle groups, stabilize the joints and restore range of motion in a way that honors your individual needs. Move at your own pace and learn modifications for practice that work for your body.
Breath-based movements with gentle posture holds for gentle stretching to release muscle tension. Excellent for nourishing the body, expanding the breath and dropping into your heart space. The slow pace allows for integration of the movements on a deep level. Postures are level 1 with a few options for level 2 mid-practice. Postures linked in a progressive flow. Alignment is incorporated but not the focus. The fluidity of this practice builds heat, stamina, strength and flexibility. Rejuvenating, enlivening and detoxifying. Yoga philosophy is woven through the practice and brings depth and insight on and off the mat.

Mindful slow movements coordinated with steady and deep breathing. Interspersed with gentle restorative yoga postures using props to support the full weight of the body and encourage release of muscular tension. Guided imagery and meditation for healing and renewal.
A slower practice designed to bring relaxation and mindful engagement to support balance in the body. Focus on breath brings expansion and presence. Yoga philosophy, poetry and chants are offered to anchor the practice and nourish the soul.
Restorative Yoga Nidra
Integrative Restoration, or iRest, is an adaptation of Yoga Nidra, a form of deep, meditative self-inquiry. iRest practice grounds us into essential well-being, allowing us to unwind tension and stress. We learn to welcome and heal difficult emotions and limiting beliefs, emerging with fresh insight, inspiration and resilience. iRest can be practiced in stillness or in movement, so classes may include gentle asana, restorative yoga poses, and extended periods of reclining meditation. Suitable for all levels.

Yoga for the Feet
Modern western life can be traumatic for the health of our feet so disturbances arise in the form of plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammertoes, and collapsed arches. These blockages are then transmitted to the whole body as we continue to take out full weight onto our imbalanced and strained feet. When the cells, muscles spindles, fascia joints, and skin are given space and full attention we can observe their innate readiness and aspiration toward their true nature that is sweet and steady. We will use the workshop to open, stretch, challenge and strengthen the feet so that they may move towards alignment. This workshop includes the myofascial props that we use so that you can continue to work with them at home.
