Holiday Restorative Workshop
Time: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm; Instructor: Raye Lynn Rath-Rondeau Deni Rondeau; Class Type: Special Workshops.
This level builds upon the foundation set in the Beginner's Series by adding new postures and alignment cues to your class experience. We will move with the breath at a comfortable pace as we expand our awareness and practice in standing, seated, forward and gentle back bending poses.
This Wednesday morning Level 2 is a 1 hour class. It will build upon Level 1 with some new postures, deeper refinement and playfulness.
Beginners Series - November 26-December 17, 2018
This is a 4 week class series designed to give you a beginning foundation for your yoga practice. The brand new beginner will be comfortable here as we move mindfully and start with the basics; explore how to sit, how to breathe, and move into basic standing and seated postures (asanas) in each class. Each class ends with relaxation. Week 1 - November 26, Week 2 - December 3, Week 3 - December 10, Week 4 - December 17. Investment $72 We recommend new students begin in week 1 or 2. If it is week 3 we recommend waiting to begin the next series - Beginning January 7, 2019.
Special Gentle Yoga Program
This Special Program combines gentle body movements, breathing and relaxation techniques that create physical and mental well-being. A slow and soothing tempo to invite an experience of strength and rejuvenation to students of all shapes and sizes. Wonderful for those who want to increase their mobility and balance, especially after injury or surgery. Perfect for students with pre-existing health conditions and those who are 65 years or older. Please note that this is a special program and not part of our regular classes. Registration for this class is not available online. You can register in person when you come to class.
Yin / Yang Yoga Class
YIN Yoga is a quiet, contemplative practice of surrendering. Bypassing muscles, YIN taps into the connective tissues of the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine to overall increase vitality of the body and breath. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes, offering a perfect balance to a powerful "yang" lifestyle. Yang is your more active practice engaging and strengthening. This class joins the two practices for an experience of opening and strengthening.
Level 1 & 2
This level will fit those taking level 1 and/or level 2 classes. A mix of asanas and variations will be offered. Come and practice at your level.

The result is a highly regenerative state where the energy normally burned by the mind is fully freed to heal and restore the body. All Class Packages, Cards and Memberships begin (become "active") the day you attend your first class OR when you attend your first class after your current package expires. Once you activate the package by attending that first class, unused portions of that package may not be transferred to another person or applied to future sessions. Perfect for progressing beyond the Beginner level classes and the Special Beginner Series making this the perfect prep for intermediate level classes. Learn, practice and refine a full range of poses including an introduction to sequences, flows, transitions and preparations for more intermediate level poses.
Move beyond the fundamentals. Put it all together with a little more challenging poses, flows and sequences – an introduction to arm balances, inversions and back bends with options for transitions, progressions and modifications to provide a little less or a little more, as needed.
For strong intermediate and/or advanced level students. These classes include options for more challenging and deepening variations of poses, flows, sequences, progressions and transitions.
