LifeForce Yoga
This class is an exploration of Asana/Hatha yoga poses, Pranayama/Breath techniques, Mantra/use of sound, Mudras/energy Influencing gestures and Meditation with the focus on providing techniques that students can integrate on a daily basis to live a life that is joyful, creative and dynamic. Class level is appropriate for students new to yoga as well as those who have an established or advanced practice as classes are designed to facilitate each student's personal journey to physical and emotional wellness through yoga.
Intermediate Yoga
This is a strong class with emphasis on building strength, flexibility and stamina. Inversions and backbends are practiced under the guidance of qualified instructors. Prior yoga experience required.
Back Care Yoga
Focus on alleviating neck and back pain, and lengthening and decompressing the spine. Practice techniques designed to prevent and manage back pain using gentle yoga to improve core strength and posture.
Candlelit Yin Yoga
Candlelit Yin & Gentle Yoga: Unlike any other class, this one has lights out and candles lit up. A quiet and gentle practice, Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues of the body and encourages greater mobility and health of the joints in our hips and spine. While the postures all done on the floor and held longer than in a traditional yoga class (3-5 minutes), the emphasis is on comfort and stability. Yin Yoga also provides time for mindful awareness, introspection and deep relaxation. Beginners welcome.
