A gentle pilates mat class that builds muscle endurance and strength for someone needing post-rehab, with Osteopenia, Osteoporosis, Scoliosis, spinal instability, or mechanical low back pain. This workout will increase core strength and stability, enhance joint integrity, improve postural alignment, and will develop muscle tone.
The five principles of postural alignment and stability will be in emphasized while introducing a combination of essential and intermediate exercises. Attention and focus on breathing and relaxation as well.
Small Group Pilates Training on the Equipment for beginners. This class will include both essential and intermediate exercises on the reformer, barrel and chair. Principles and essential exercises will be taught step by step.
Multi-level class open to practitioners of all abilities. Hatha Yoga combines stretching and strengthening movements with breath awareness. Hatha yoga can help remove stress, bring deep relaxation, and flexibility to your body and mind.
Each class will have an energetic series of poses intended to invigorate the mind and body connection. This new addition to the Yin Yang schedule is appropriate for yogis of all levels: although the practice tends to demand more boty-awareness and strength then a beginner's class.
