Ye Olde Steak House racks up Best Steak House in Knoxville awards every year, but its fame extends far beyond the city limits. On any given night there may be folks from 20 states in the restaurant, feasting on porterhouse, prime rib, sirloin strip or steak burgers. Steak combinations with shrimp, flounder or swordfish are popular We have been featured on Man vs. Food and ESPN's "Taste of the Town" on College GameDay. Started in 1968 by Bunt and Helen King, the Ye Olde Steak House is currently run by the children David King, Cheryl Wilson and Nancy Ayers! David who cuts the meat by hand, believes he has the best job in Knoxville. Even some of the Grandchildren help out! One of the children Hugh "Hank" Wilson Jr won 1st place in the East Tennessee Chili Cookoff for Second Harvest Food Bank with his Prime Rib and Ground Filet Chili! To sum it up the Ye olde Steak House is all about a relaxed atmosphere, great service and our founders Bunt and Helen King put it..."Food Fit For A King!"
