Beginning Knitting or Crochet
Our beginning knit or crochet sessions are 1 to 2-hour private sessions with one of our experienced staff members. We feel it's easiest for a new stitcher to learn with quality one-on-one instruction. The sessions can accommodate up to three at a time if you want to come with friends. Call to schedule your session. Times and dates are flexible. We work the session into your schedule, weekdays or weekends. After your first beginning lesson, you are welcome to schedule another for more instruction, join any of our groups or scheduled classes and drop in anytime for help.

Introduction to Linen Stitch
Linen stitch makes such a lovely, woven looking fabric. While this stitch is very easy to execute it does require close attention so as to avoid mistakes, which can be difficult to fix. Kelli will take students through the basics and variations to this stitch and students will begin a project in class that involves Half Linen Stitch - a good way to begin. Saturday, March 12th, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. OR Saturday, April 9th, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Choose either day (2 class hours).

"Allee" Crochet Scarf/Shawl
If you have completed our "learn to crochet" series or are already at intermediate level for crochet then you are ready to take on this lovely piece. Check out "Allee" on Ravelry or stop in to view our shop sample. It is a great project to use up 400 yards of fingering weight - those random skeins we buy just because we like the color. We have used Tosh Merino Light in a lovely lavender gray called "Moonstone". Stitches used are basic chain, single, double and triple crochet. You will be following basic written crochet directions and also be introduced to crochet charts. Saturday, April 23rd. 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
