About Us
"The Whistle Stop, and I couldn't resist stopping. As a fan of the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes" , how could I not stop.
They had Fried Green Tomatoes with the batter from the movie. Loved it.
Sandwiches, Pasta, it was a very full menu. They also have live music on Friday nights.
Pizza was excellent, as good as you could get in Chicago.
Friendly staff, and one of the cleanest and best kept restaurants we have stopped at.
They are building a train depot across the street, which will make this even more like the movie set."
