Muay Thai Beginner
Learn proper stance, footwork and movement to become a Muay Thai practitioner. The beginner's class covers basic strikes with the hands, feet, knees and elbows while introducing basic defensive techniques. Great workout while learning the fundamentals needed for more advanced training.
Muay Thai Intermediate/Advanced
The intermediate and advanced Muay Thai class are designed for the students who already mastered the basics and are looking to improve their skills and cardio. Heavy pad work and sparring.
No Gi
All levels welcome as this class explores the world of Jiu Jitsu without a gi. Basic to advanced techniques are covered here as well as sparring.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Intermediate/Advanced
Classes: 8PM TUESDAY + THURSDAY. Under the tutelage of our Black belt instructor, Professor Gustavo Gasperin, more advance techniques are covered. Emphasis on rolling (sparring) and competition for those who want to compete.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Beginner
Classes: 8PM MONDAY + WEDNESDAY + FRIDAY. Beginner's Jiu-Jistu focuses on the ever important fundamentals such as basic guard passes, sweeps, take downs and controlling positions. Begin your journey here if you haven't trained before. Or, if you are looking to sharpen your base, attend this class to reinforce the foundation of BJJ. Rolling (sparring) is optional yet encouraged for new students when the instructor feels they are ready.
MMA
Classes: 11AM TUESDAY + THURSDAY. Mixed Martial Arts, this class combines the art of striking and grappling. Through pad work, technique drills and sparring you will learn to use both your Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai skills to defend or compete at any level. Lots of cardio needed in this class.
Warrior Kids' Class
Classes: 5PM WEDNESDAY + 10AM SATURDAY Kids ages 5-13 will learn in a fun and safe way the basics of both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. Over time they will learn self confidence, respect and improve their overall health. They will learn to not be bullied or to be a bully. Pad work, skill techniques and martial art games are covered in this class.
Strength and Conditioning
If you're looking to lose weight or improve your strength and cardio endurance, this is the class. High focus on core strength and explosiveness. Through years of training, owner Pete Panos, has developed a system of exercises that will not only get you in great shape but will help improve your martial arts training. Be ready to sweat!
Kali / Eskrima
Classes: 11AM SUNDAY. Learn the ancient art of stick and knife fighting. A great self defense class that covers technique for both open hand and weapon fighting. Open to all levels. Classes instructed by Jerry Quill.
Open Mat
Designed for students to come in and practice by themselves or with other partners the techniques and drills they have been working on throughout the week. Bag training, pad work, sparring, stretching... bring what you know to the mat and train.
