Waterman's Pride Seafood was opened in April 2006, a dream of owner Capt Tony Vicari with the goal of selling the freshest Seafood at the best prices. Capt Tony started crabbing and gillnetting the waters of the Chesapeake Bay with his father at the young age of 13. During those times crabs were kept in live boxes and sold live direct to the public. Growing up on the water in the Edgemere/Millers Island area, Capt Tony has extensive knowledge of fishing and crabbing in the Chesapeake Bay. This experience and love of the water, passed on to his children who have worked on his boat pulling pots and sorting crabs. Tony Jr. now operates a tugboat out of Baltimore and daughter Christina, with her experience on the boat, along with prior employment in several busy crab houses and excellent customer service skills is the manager of Waterman's Pride Seafood.
