Walk The Tail was born in 2000 out of a love for animals and to fill a need in the community for people who wanted their pets cared for in their own homes when they went on vacation. Owner, Nita Bernier-Cirioni, has been taking care of animals for over ten years while their owners are living. Now she wants to look after pets after their humans are gone. Her pet-sitting business is booming with over 450 clients; and after realizing most of her animals could live up to 15 years, she questioned what would happen to them if something happened to her. That’s when After You’ve Gone was born.
