Vivolo, the family name, long associated with fine dining and Italian cuisine, is located at 140 east 74th street, New York. Vivolo established in 1977 by owner Angelo Vivolo, is nestled in a charming 1875 townhouse occupying two floors.You enter into a rich English redwood paneled dining room and antique oak bar with a working fireplace. Ceilings beamed with dark wood creating an overall intimate, friendly and romantic atmosphere. A "café" alcove offers several secluded tables or the perfect setting for dinners for 10.The second floor of Vivolo has the look of a turn-of-the-century parlor with a gold leaf trimmed ceiling and working fireplace. The parlor floor is also a favorite for private parties.
